  • Dr. Kristine Aadland has an energy and excitement for life that is seen by all who have met her. Raised in Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Aadland attended dental school at Oregon Health & Sciences University, and graduated in 2006 with Clinical Honors. After associating for a few years, she then built out her dream practice in 2009. Dr Aadland chose to differentiate herself in a competitive market by utilizing the best technology available for greater efficiency and patient comfort. The cornerstone of this technology was Dentsply Sirona’s CEREC and Galileos products. This choice has paid off as Dr Aadland’s practice has continued to realize remarkable growth each year.   • Dr. Peter Hagen is a 19-year veteran of CEREC technology and an advanced trainer for Patterson Dental. His straightforward approach to teaching CAD/CAM dentistry has made him a sought-after instructor for the CEREC user for over 15 years. In addition to his traditional classroom instruction and live patient demonstrations, Dr. Hagen travels to dental practices throughout the Western United States helping individual doctors with their efficiency and clinical techniques in their own offices. A 1984 graduate from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Dr. Hagen has maintained a multi-doctor CEREC driven private practice in Southern California for 35 years. He was one of the first CEREC users in Orange County, and one of the original members of the CEREC training team based in Los Angeles. Dr. Hagen is recognized as a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona, Vita North America, and Ivoclar Vivadent. His continued testing of software, hardware, and products have helped provide valuable insight and further advance digital dentistry.

Learn how to anesthetize, image, prep, design, and cement a crown more efficiently to make your crown appointments more profitable.

  • Dr. Rosenblatt presently owns a practice in Lake Forest, IL focusing on CAD/CAM and digital dentistry. He is faculty for cerecdoctors.com and Spear education in their CAD/CAM division. He is a basic trainer for Patterson Dental has been a software Alpha and Beta tester for Sirona Dental Systems. He founded the Northern Illinois CEREC Study Club in 2005 which was one largest of its kind worldwide. He and his partners started The Chicago Study Club in 2017, a comprehensive dental study club in Chicago. He has lectured internationally regarding CAD/CAM and digital dentistry.

• The Story of the Mouth

  • Digital dentistry starts with communication. Are you able to tell the story of the mouth of the patient? This is a lecture on how to properly image your patient's clinical situation so they have an understanding of their conditions. It is also an avenue to discuss the nature of smile coaching.

  • Dr. Ehrlich elevates his patient care by the digital components of his practice and years of experience of hand-making his own ceramics. Although having a small practice outside of Austin, Texas, he utilizes the technologies to their fullest and reaps the benefits from them, especially CEREC and Galileos. Dr. Ehrlich has lectured extensively on CAD/CAM technologies and has developed one of the premier training programs for CEREC. He is a Master CEREC Trainer for Dentsply Sirona and Patterson Dental. He was a beta tester for CEREC’s PrimeScan, Omnicam, BlueCam and was a beta tester for Ivoclar-Vivadent’s Emax CAD.

All materials have their pros and cons. This course will help you navigate through the physical properties for different materials and help you pick the right material for the right indication based on the clinical situation, restorative room, size of the restoration, ease of cementation and esthetic requirements of the case.

  • Dr. Dhaval Patel graduated from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2003. He has been in Private Practice in Roseville Ca since 2006. Dr. Patel has been a Cerec user since 2007 and his articles on Cerec Cad/Cam Technology have been published in Compendium, Inside dentistry, Cerec Online, 3d-dentists.com as well as Cerec Doctors magazine. He is also a regular blog post contributor for 3d-dentists.com. He has done presentations on Cerec at Dental Town, CDA, CEREC 30 and Siroworld Meetings and is also a graduate of the Sirona Speakers Academy. Dr. Patel is a beta tester for the CEREC software for Dentsply Sirona. He is the faculty member for CEREC for 3D- Dentists and the PDS Institute and has trained hundreds of dentists over the last 10 years. He is also the founder of the Facebook group Keep CERECing.

  • Dr. Sully is a fourth-generation dentist from Nashville, TN. By continuing to invest in his education through adult orthodontics, soft tissue grafting, dental implants, third molar extractions, and obstructive sleep apnea, he helped double his practice in just 24 months. As a millennial, he truly believes in working smarter not harder, which has led him to utilize technology to not only deliver better patient care but more efficient care. Dr. Sullivan regularly uses CEREC, 3D imaging with the Orthophos SL AI, 3D printing, and multiple lasers. Dr. Sully lectures around the country on cone beam technology, cad/cam dentistry, obstructive sleep apnea, and also started the "Millennial Dentist" Podcast. He is also teaching faculty for 3D-Dentists in Raleigh, NC.

• Guided Partial Extraction Therapy- Simplifying the Complex

  • Partial Extraction Therapy ( Socket Shield Technique) has been a proven solution for certain implant cases where the esthetic result is a concern. Hürzeler et al published " Socket Shield Technique- Proof -of -Principle" article in 2010. They discussed the advantages salvaging a fragment of a failing tooth to maintain the buccal plate, and ultimately the soft tissue support when performing implant therapy. While the idea has merited the difficulty, the techniques keep many away from incorporating this beneficial skill. This course will help explore the why, the how, and remove the complexity. We will bring the advantages of digital imaging and CADCAM to this worthwhile technique. Giving a roadmap to success, from planning, to placement, and to final restoration.

Dr Gardell is an Alpha and Beta tester for Sirona’s Imaging and Cad Cam technologies since 2009. He also has been involved with testing for various manufacturers of restorative and implant products.
